Just outside Alamogordo and White Sands National Park is the Inn of the Mountain Gods, a remote resort operated by the Mescalero Apache Tribe of New Mexico. This region of the United States is rife with natural beauty, and much of the tourism to this part of the world involves sightseeing and outdoor sports. Inn of the Mountain Gods combines scenic views and access to local hotspots with legal gambling at the Inn to create something akin to the large resort-casinos of Vegas.
