Gold Town Casino Pahrump u5g4x
Gold Town Casino is part of Pahrump, Nevada’s small collection of casino gambling venues. Just outside of Death Valley National Park, Pahrump is an hours’ drive west of Las Vegas, literally on the border Nevada shares with California. 3k6kl
Pahrump is connected to Las Vegas in a number of ways, most notably in the fact that it is itself an “exurb” of the larger city, a haven for people fleeing the expansion and expense of Vegas. Pahrump was a sleepy agricultural town without phone service or (often) indoor plumbing well into the mid-20th Century, when roads connecting Las Vegas with smaller areas around it were built with funds from the casino gambling boom.
Gold Town Casino’s gaming floor is open 24 hours a day.

Gold Town is an electronic casino only, with no live dealer games on the premises. Slot machines and video poker terminals are the main attraction, number somewhere above 250. But other machine games are available, including table games designed in electronic machine versions. Casino-style poker machine games are available, as are versions of blackjack and roulette.

Calico Buffet & Café is the only place to grab a bite to eat located on-site at Gold Town Casino. Both the buffet section and the slightly more formal sit-down section of the restaurant are open for a limited number of hours seven days per week. Most days, the casino opens at 7 AM and stays open until 9 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, the gaming floor remains open an extra hour in the evening.
The buffet is styled after the famous spreads of Las Vegas mega-casinos, featuring high-dollar items like snow crab and prime rib. The café section is still casual, but featuring a contemporary American cuisine menu as well as wine and beer selections.
