The Rainbow is a medium sized casino with a modern and professional feel. Now owned by the Double Diamond Group, it was formerly a Gala Casino before that group sold off many of their establishments. Located in a UGC cinema complex in the centre of Cardiff it is near to the Motorpoint Arena, and about a mile from the Millennium Stadium. 333c1c
The Rainbow is convenient for both of Cardiff’s main train stations; Central Cardiff Station and Queen Street Station are both easy to reach on foot within a few minutes. Cardiff Airport is around 15 miles away. If driving, the M4 will take you to Cardiff, exit at Junction 33 if travelling from the west and Junction 29 from the east, then follow directions to the city centre. The most convenient car park for the casino is the shopping centre next door. Parking there will cost you £2 from 6pm to 6am.
The Rainbow Casino is free to enter and is open to and non- alike. Those who choose to the casino will be given a welcome pack which includes various vouchers for use in the casino, bar and restaurant.

There are four tables of American roulette on the gaming floor and four blackjack tables. The minimum stake for American roulette is 50p and for blackjack is it £3. Electronic roulette, slot machines and video machines are available 24 hours a day. Mah jong is also offered. There are five tables for Texas hold ’em which can be played from 6pm onwards. Poker tournaments used to be held regularly, but unfortunately these are not on offer at the moment.
