Genting Club Reading 102s
Just a stone’s throw from the banks of the River Thames outside Reading’s centre is the town’s casino, Genting Club. It’s around a half an hour walk from the town centre but is conveniently located for the railway station, which is about 10 minutes away by bus. Reading is about 30 miles west of the closest major airport, London Heathrow and there’s a fairly direct bus which will take you just over an hour, whilst alternatively a taxi will take you there in about half that time. Free parking is provided and if the casino car park’s full just park in Rivermead opposite and pay the charge which the casino will refund you. 524c2d

The Fahrenheit restaurant is open daily from 7pm to 11pm and 1am on weekends and takes its name from the famous Josper Grills they use, which reach temperatures up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. This grill is used in preparation of some dishes and gives a smoky barbecue flavour to the food. On Sunday and Monday there’s also a Chinese option at lunch time from 11:30pm to 2am at just £5 per head.
If you’re looking for something a bit lighter, both the restaurant and the Late Bar serve from the Graze and Play menu which offers small meals and snacks until the early hours. The bar also has a cocktail menu starting at just £4.50 per drink.
