Bear Claw Casino 5i3z1u
Run by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, the Bear Claw Casino was the first casino in the area that was operated by a native group when it opened in 1993. It is a relatively small (30,000 square foot) casino set in the Moose Mountains, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The downside of this is that it’s quite a drive (250 km) from the nearest airport in Regina, although some shuttle services are available. 271m1c

The casino has over 130 slot machines as well as a number of table games including two blackjack tables and “Phil Em Up” – a five card poker game. There’s also a cash table for multiplayer poker with $1-2 no limit games. It’s worth checking the hours of operation of the poker table with the casino directly as they do vary from time to time. They also host slot machine tournaments roughly three to four times a month.
