Run by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, the Bear Claw Casino was the first casino in the area that was operated by a native group when it opened in 1993. It is a relatively small (30,000 square foot) casino set in the Moose Mountains, an area of outstanding natural beauty. There’s also a cash table for multiplayer poker with $1-2 no limit games. It’s worth checking the hours of operation of the poker table with the casino directly as they do vary from time to time.
